BNP’s Arval PHH to make acquisitions in the Netherlands.

BNP Paribas, the French bank, said its car fleet management and leasing unit Arval PHH is targeting 3-4 % market share within the next four years in the 26 countries it has operations and is looking for acquisitions in Germany and the Netherlands. The company said in an interview with French economic daily Les Echos that it is looking for acquisitions in Germany and the Netherlands because they are mature markets where BNP already has units that cannot continue at their current size, which is relatively modest. Arval PHH is the European company formed by BNP Paribas and PHH Europe. The leading market brands are AllStar, Arval PHH Vehicle Solutions, Overdrive and ClaimsPlus.
