Epiq to sell Fremach Group |

| Epiq, the Diepenbeek based producer of electronic and electro-mechanical systems and sub-systems, has reached a principle agreement to sell the Fremach Group to Elex and to the previous management of the Fremach Group. Te transaction s part of Epiq’s restructuring program, announced last August. The core business of Epiq is Household and Automotive Electronics. Fremach is mainly focussing on plastic moulding activities for the Automotive and Personnel Communication market. The Fremach Group represents 10% of Epiq’s sales and group assets. The Fremach group realized a loss of €€ 800.000 up to Q3 ’02, and employs 243 people in Belgium, The Netherlands and in Czech Republic. |
