Fitness First

Fitness First, the British leisure group, unveiled ambitious expansion plans to boost its health club portfolio, announcing plans to open 55 clubs over the coming months, taking the total up to 280 by its October year end. The move, which will be partially funded by a € 123 million share placing, will create more than 2,200 jobs. The group, based in Dorset, has clubs across the UK but also has a significant global presence. The group own 11 clubs in Belgium and 3 in the Netherlands, with one more opening in Kerkrade scheduled for February.
