Base to launch i-mode in Belgium on October 15th. |

| Base, the Belgian wholly owned subsidiary of KPN Mobile, which is to operate NTT Docomo’s i-mode service in Belgium, said it would launch the i-mode in the Belgian market, effective October 15th. The company has scheduled a press conference for that day for journalists to be given the opportunity to experience the content services. As an introduction, Base said it would present content offerings, the i-mode handsets and the pricing. |
