DNS allows transfer of .be domain names.

DNS, the non-profit organization that registers domain names under dot, and that was established in 1999 by Ispa, Fabrimetal (Agoria) and Beltug, has decided that it will be allowed in the near future to transfer domain names between licensees. Up till now, a domain name is personal and non-transferable, which means that it could only be registered for one's own use. From a survey held on the DNS website, it was found that more than 85% of the respondents were in favour of making a domain name transferable. Taking into account that selling a domain name is allowed in most countries, DNS decided to make this also possible in the near future under dot.be.
