KPN

KPN, the Dutch telecom operator, may be auctioning 2,300 of its towers to six bidders, 1,100 of which belong to its German mobile subsidiary E-Plus, in a move that should save as much as 15 % cent of the costs to build German UTMS networks by outsourcing its towers, which have an estimated value of 600 million euros. The news was reported by German daily Die Welt, that stated that among the possible bidders were Spectrasite, Tessag and New Radio tower, but these parties declined to comment.
