| Mobistar, Belgium’s number 2 mobile operator, is announcing the launch of e-Mobile, a mobile data communication service (Internet access, e-mails) intended for the residential market. Over a year ago, Mobistar was the first Belgian operator to market GPRS applications for businesses. As such, Mobistar has accumulated experience enabling it to offer the general public a stable product based on the GPRS technology. From 2 August 2002, Mobistar will offer its customers the possibility of having access to all essential information and their own personal e-mail on their PDA, via a direct and permanent Internet connection. For a fixed monthly charge of € 25, the user of e-Mobile has the possibility of sending or receiving up to 10 MB per month. |
