| StepStone, the pan-European internet based recruitment platform, said it had completed a number of major technology developments and was now operating on a common platform across the Benelux, Italy, France and Portugal. During the third quarter the company will commence the rollout of this platform in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Reflecting the continuing difficult trading conditions throughout Europe, the company’s total headcount has now reduced to 362 compared to 400 at end of March. The company is currently transitioning its operation in Finland into its Swedish organization. Stepstone has also decided to locate its Web Development centre in Belgium, which will lead to the creation of some jobs at its Brussels subsidiary. |
