Le Four Industriel Belge wins contract in Vietnam.
Le Four Industriel Belge (FIB), an Uccle based manufacturer of bell-type annealing plants which feature heat-treating furnaces, said it had won a contract in Vietnam for an undisclosed amount. The family-owned business, which employs 60 staff and posted 2001 sales of over € 11 million, also runs a small operation in the Czech Republic and expects to rapidly expand its business in Vietnam. Four Industriel Belge specializes in the design, manufacture and sale of gas-fired equipment based on a combustion technique using a premixture. This innovative technique enables the atmosphere of the fumes in the furnace to be controlled and combustion to be adjusted in very economical conditions. Its customers include : NGK (Belgium), Lladro (Spain),Saint Gobain (France) and Bekaert.
