Sofitex
Sofitex, the Belgian manufacturer of lining materials, reports that there are parties interested in taking over its Sofispin spinning mill and Sofisilk dying workshop. Sofitex was granted a six-month creditor protection, with the idea of finding a buyer for these two divisions. Some candidates would be prepared to take over the whole group, whereas others are only interested in taking over parts. The company refrained from naming the potential candidates.
