Aviapartner mulling to acquire Schiphol based freight handler.

Aviapartner, the Brussels based freight-handling company, said it was trying to increase its services at Schiphol Airport, where it won a freight-handling license in 2000, but which has only poorly been used due to lack of an own proper facility at the Amsterdam based airport. Aviapartner, which does not consider the renting of a hangar from a third party as a commercial option, is rumoured to be preparing the acquisition of Aero Ground, the airport's second largest handler. Aviapartner has recently signed a contract with Buzz, KLM’s low cost subsidiary, for services in Bordeaux, Marseille, Toulouse and Grenoble.
