Canal+ obtains Belgium Soccer League rights. |

| Canal+ Belgium, Vivendi Universal’s Belgian pay-TV channel, has signed an agreement with Belgium’s Professional Soccer League, under which it is entitled to broadcast live games of the Belgian League over the next three years. Canal+ pays € 10 million per year for the broadcasting rights, compared to € 7,5 million in the past, but the new agreement entitles the pay channel to broadcast an additional 16 games per season, bringing the total to 50. Under the agreement, Canal+ will also be entitled to sell the rights abroad. |
